Really enjoyed it
Amazing!
This course was amazing. I feel blessed to live in this era. I followed the course (almost 7 hours) in one single day. It’s important to take notes during each video. The longest one is 20 minutes, all the others are on an average 7 minutes and the explanation is very visual. Of course you have to have knowledge of math and some computer for the concepts to make sense. Also don’t expect to be a programmer at the end. You’ll just learn the theory logic. You have to follow other courses for specific programs. Just like every course: it will only take you wherever you take it!

I started this course because the digital side of my Archivist Administration masters touched on the uses of trees and introduced me to the exciting world of computer science – and being furloughed had definitely left me with more time on my hands!
Kurt Anderson’s teaching style was accessible and clear for a non-computer science student and his friendly and his practical approach to teaching really clicked with me. I hope to do more courses by him or indeed further my knowledge of computer science.

Diploma in Computer Science and Programming
The four stars are for Kurt Anderson and the memorable graphics. However, for the certificate itself I award zero stars. I watched 44 videos, I took notes, I was expecting an exam or test, so, if you don’t have the time, or can’t be bothered, just click that you have done the unit then go to next and you get a certificate in less than an hour (I took over 6 hours which now makes me look stupid). It makes the certificate worthless, do I have the cheek to actually put this on my CV? I think not.
