An estate agent, also known as a real estate agent or Realtor (in the United States), is a professional who facilitates the buying, selling, or renting of properties on behalf of clients. They typically work for real estate agencies and earn commissions based on the transactions they facilitate.
There is generally no significant difference between the terms "real estate agent" and "estate agent." Both refer to professionals who assist clients in buying, selling, or renting properties. The usage of the term "estate agent" is more common in British English, while "real estate agent" is more common in American English.
In some countries, estate agents may also be licensed as brokers, allowing them to operate independently and oversee transactions. However, not all estate agents are brokers. Brokers typically have more extensive training and may have additional responsibilities, such as managing other agents.
In the context of real estate, the terms "real estate agent" and "salesperson" are often used interchangeably to refer to individuals who facilitate property transactions. However, a real estate agent may have additional responsibilities beyond sales, such as property management or real estate investment consulting.
Estate services typically refer to a range of professional services related to managing and administering the affairs of an estate, particularly after the death of the estate owner. These services may include property valuation, asset distribution, legal representation, and financial planning.
Real estate brokers are licensed professionals who facilitate real estate transactions between buyers and sellers. They may oversee a team of real estate agents, manage brokerage firms, negotiate deals, provide market analysis, and ensure legal compliance throughout the transaction process.
The term "Realtor" is primarily used in the United States to refer to a licensed real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In British English, the equivalent term is "estate agent."
Property developers are individuals or companies involved in the acquisition, planning, development, construction, and sale or lease of real estate properties. They may specialize in residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments.
The suitability of a country for real estate development depends on various factors such as market demand, economic stability, regulatory environment, and infrastructure development. Countries with strong economies and growing populations, such as the United States, China, India, and the United Kingdom, often attract significant real estate development activity.
As of my last update, the title of the richest real estate businessman in the world was held by several individuals, including Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Bernard Arnault. However, their wealth is primarily derived from investments in other industries, and they are not exclusively real estate developers.
Some of the largest property developers in Asia include Country Garden Holdings (China), China Evergrande Group, Sun Hung Kai Properties (Hong Kong), Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Ayala Land, Inc. (Philippines).
The "richest" real estate job can vary depending on individual success, market conditions, and specialization. Some lucrative real estate careers include real estate development, property investment, luxury property sales, commercial real estate brokerage, and real estate investment banking.
Synonyms for property developer include real estate developer, land developer, real estate mogul, builder, and property tycoon.

Breadth & Depth
I appreciate the breadth & depth of the course. I must however point out that some sections fail to impress me as they really need alot of proofreading. Some parts of the course really sound like they are straight out from the Private Label Rights article databases and really require alot of proofreading and integrating into real life practice.
Im still a fan of Janets but im running out of courses to study for my online ventures.
I hope they can come up with more quality courses in real estate and hopefully a real practitioner can put together an online course as opposed to marketers or plain educators. You can really spot the difference when youre deep in the study.
