Could realy leran some skills for my ecommerce business! Great work!
Useful, but with good and bad points
A very useful course, geared more towards the behind-the-scenes part of web design and setting up an e-commerce business, but touches on actual HTML and CSS coding.
However, it has some down sides.
One section of the course is repeated (for no reason) further along in the First Module. Additional video material is available for lots of the sections, but they’re simply YouTube videos that could be accessed for free anyway. One section has a PDF document (I presume the owner actually gave permission for it to be used in the course). However, it’s unfinished. Several chapters are completely blank, others have minimal information and “todo: write more” underneath. Moving on to the rest of the course, it obviously wasn’t proofread as there are multiple spelling and grammar mistakes. I know that’s not a matter of life and death, but for a course normally costing more than £300, I expected it to feel more professional.
Which brings me to the last part of the course – the exams.
More spelling and grammar mistakes are present here than anywhere else in the course. Words stuck together without spacing, sentences that make no sense and questions that weren’t even touched on in the course. And that was just the mock exam.
The final exam contained multiple questions that were copied directly from the mock exam (complete with failed spelling and grammar), along with a few extras that weren’t touched on in the course (and thankfully, a few that actually were).
All in all, it’s a useful course.
